Patricia Weisman is our dynamic Minister and personal “spiritual cheerleader”.
Trish grew up in Seattle, WA, and has been involved with Unity for almost fifty years. She has been deeply involved with sociology, psychology, and theology, including training and practice in a variety of major therapeutic modalities. Trish is an avid reader and researcher, and loves to learn about people. Trish also enjoys playing the piano.
From the time she was a little child, Trish talked to God. Her grandma explained to her that God was her friend, and that she could talk to God any time she wanted, especially when her family members weren’t available to talk to. She told Trish that she could ask God her questions, and that she might not hear the answer in words, but she would have a feeling about what she needed to do. Despite many challenges, Trish learned to trust in God and her own intuition.
Trish lives here in Southern California. She treasures four grown children: Stephen, John, Susan, and Kelly. She is also the very proud grandma of several grandchildren.
We are so grateful for and so joyful about having Trish as our minister. If you haven’t been to one of our services yet, when you hear her speak, you will see why we are so grateful for having her in our lives. She inspires, educates, impassions, and uplifts us, and is just one of the most compassionate, loving people around.
